Ventura Series
The Ventura model is another innovative German-made Hohner accordion.
It incorporates recent technological advances made for the Morino and
has caused a sensation in the accordion market ever since.
The striking design gives the instrument a whole new look. The contrast
between the matte surfaces of modern aluminum and the classic black of a
celluloid finish combined with the elegant curve of the treble grill
creates a distinctly modern impression, while retaining close ties to
the Hohner accordion tradition.
In our opinion, the Ventura IV (also
available in a 37/96 size) has the most avante-garde styling and is the
first truly fresh body design that we have seen in many years – a
near-perfect melding of contemporary simplicity in the functional,
boldly slit grille design, elegant two-tone black and silver gently
contoured body highlights which continue from the treble to the bass
sections. The unique body design also features an absolutely flush
continuum between the grille and main body surface, unlike any other
accordion we have ever seen.
Technologically,
the Ventura incorporates similar construction design elements from the
tone chambered Morino series, ensuring that the Ventura quality and
internal design innovation is equal to that of Hohner’s Morino series,
only in a non-chambered, lighter weight series. As with all of Hohner’s
accordions made in their century old German factory, the Ventura
incorporates the patented exclusive T-Keyboard design, allowing the
individual removal of the treble keys for servicing as well as providing
for a virtually noise-free, silent keyboard mechanics – a trademark of
authentic Hohner T-Keyboard models.
